Dash Safe Slice Mandolin

If safety is your watchword, you can't beat this Dash mandolin. Its safety features are ideal for people who are afraid of traditional mandolins or have mobility issues. Unlike other mandolines that have a fixed, open blade, this mandoline has an internal guillotine that cuts food, not your fingers.

Why it's a bargain: This gray and yellow model is $5, the lowest price we've seen in months. The other colors sell for a little more, but it's still a nice savings.

Top stone premium

If you like to sharpen your knives, this sharpening stone may be for you. The Pebble Premium whetstone was the best whetstone we reviewed; We liked how efficiently it sharpens and the fine stone provides an exceptionally sharp edge. However, there is a bit of a learning curve, so you may need to buy a thicker stone separately before this stone becomes an advantage for repairing damaged knives or serious burrs.

Why it's a great deal: This stone normally retails for around $40, so the discount isn't as big as it might seem at first glance, but you're saving on a great selection.

Chef's Choice Model 4643 AngleSelect Professional Manual Knife Sharpener

© Courtesy of Consumer Reports

The Chef's Choice 4643 Knife Sharpener looks like an analog version of the brand's electric knife sharpener, but it works a little differently. It has two main sharpening settings, one for sharpening knives at 15 degrees and one for sharpening knives at 20 degrees. The third level sharpens any knife edge you want at any sharpening angle. Like the brand's electric sharpener, the 4643 looks well-designed, with grooves that hold the knife at a perfect angle as you slowly slide it.

Why it's a bargain: This retail price is the best we've seen all year.

Greater Goods Digital Kitchen Scales

Digital kitchen scales can become real workhorses in the kitchen. It is also very important in baking, as it often requires precision when measuring the ingredients. Food stylist and cookbook author Jesse Shewczyk uses these Greater Goods digital kitchen scales almost every day. "A standard cup of flour can be very inconsistent depending on how you fill the measuring cup (with a spoon in a bag or with a spoon), but when you weigh the flour, you eliminate the inconsistency factor and ensure that your cooking is perfect anytime". he says.

Why it's a great deal: At under $10, it's a great option to add a scale to your kitchen.

shake

A stiff whiskey shake

This beautiful whiskey cocktail has a nice weight and is made of oversized stainless steel. It has a 17-ounce capacity and a sturdy seal to handle the usual dry cocktail without spilling. It is heavier than other blenders at over a pound, but the handle is nice and very ergonomic.

Why it's a bargain: With a coupon on the Amazon page, it's almost half off.

Cocktail shaker with natural wood finish

The True Wooden Finish All-in-One Shaker, also known as a cocktail shaker, can be good for beginners. It is made of stainless steel with a faux wood finish, which gives it a unique aesthetic, and should only be washed by hand. Testers noted that this shaker was weaker than other models they tested, but the price and looks of this model may make it worth it.

Why it's a bargain: A coupon on the Amazon page drops the retail price to $20, which is a good price for a pair of socks.

This can-on-tin cocktail shaker from Crate & Barrel holds approximately two drinks and has a maximum fill line that prevents overfilling. The seal is very tight, producing vibrations without leakage. It's also dishwasher safe for easier cleaning.

Why it's a great deal: It 's great value at full price, making the 20% discount even more appealing.

shout of joy

For the serious hobbyist, the Cricut Joy label printer is a must. The Cricut Joy weighs almost 4 pounds and is considered a luxury item in the crafting and scrapbooking world. It can be printed on vinyl and can be used for a wide range of label and sticker applications beyond standard label printers, meaning it can be used to make boxes: lunch, t-shirts, hats and more. Device labels must be particularly resistant. They're all vinyl, so they'll probably last a bit longer than third-party labels.

Why it's a bargain: Cricut tools don't go on sale often, but we've spotted this model on sale for $99. So it's worth waiting and watching closer to Black Friday when the price drops again. .

juicer

Zulay 2-in-1 Lemon and Lime Juicer

The Zulay 2-in-1 Juicer is designed to be a versatile device capable of handling lemons and limes. In our test of the best home juicers, we found this model to be quite easy to use, although it still requires effort and isn't as clean as some other devices. However, the dual valves make them suitable for squeezing citrus fruits of different sizes.

Why it's a great deal: Amazon has the best price we've seen on this compression machine.

In our review of the best manual juicers, this stainless steel lemon squeezer from Zulay Kitchen was easy to use with riper lemons and less pulp ended up in the glass. Its slim construction is ideal for storage and is dishwasher safe.

Why it's a bargain: This is the lowest price we've seen at this press time, having recently gone on sale for around $20.

the tagger

Phomemo M110 BT label printer

© Courtesy of Consumer Reports

The Phomemo M110 is a bigger and bigger version of the aforementioned Phomemo D30 and offers more flexibility in the size of the label it creates. It also uses the same app and offers a wide range of fonts, styles and images for quick label creation and easy label cutting. Its size compared to the smaller Phomemo makes it a bit less portable and its alignment is less accurate for cutting along the label tear line compared to other label printers. But it's still a good choice for a long-term label printer.

Why it's a great deal: With a coupon on the side, this is the best price we've seen on this label maker.

Phomemo D30 Label Printer

In our reviews, the Phomemo D30 label maker was overwhelming. With the app, you can create labels in less than 10 seconds or connect to a printer for more complex jobs. Phomemo provides many font and appearance previews. It comes with a lithium battery charged and ready to print, and can also print images, barcodes and time stamps. Easy-Tear labels can be removed with one hand, and the device is smart enough to calibrate the paper roll to the correct position if it is misaligned.

Why it's a great deal: This is the best price we've seen for this label maker (price may vary by color). We've seen it sell for $23, so the price may come down a bit more.

to vacuum seal

Hamilton Beach NutriFresh 78220

The Hamilton Beach NutriFresh 78220 is a great choice if you want to marinate food, and it scored "Very Good" in our moisture test. It works quickly, and you'll appreciate it when sealing various freezer bags. It doesn't achieve perfect usability, but it comes close. The controls are sealed for easy cleaning and both seals can be removed for cleaning, although the housing must be cleaned in place. There is enough space to store cord and pocket roll.

Why it's a great deal: 10% off a trusty vacuum sealer is a nice savings, and we don't see this pattern on many merchandise. And you can save even more by buying the black version on Amazon, where it's under $100.

Cooking Anova ANVS01-US00

© Courtesy of Consumer Reports

The Anova Culinary is the smallest and quietest vacuum sealer we've ever tested. Sealing makes handling wet sealing quick and easy. The one thing holding you back? Its ease of use is mediocre. Only the bottom seal can be removed for cleaning and the crankcase must be cleaned in place. Of the seven models we tested, it's the only one that comes with a pocket roll, although you can buy it separately. There is no room for pocket rolls on the board, a compromise to reduce block size.

Why it's a great deal: $5 off is the lowest price we've ever seen.

Geryon E2900-MS

© Courtesy of Consumer Reports

The Geryon E2900-MS is quite quiet for vacuum sealing, achieving top scores for dry food and sealing speed. Even if there is a lack of space for plastic rolls, they are included to make custom bags. The device has touch control buttons and ports for accessories and suction cups with special lids.

Why it's a good deal: With the coupon on the page. This is the best price we've seen in weeks and is only $2 above all-time lows.

Black+Decker Premium BD8173

Black+Decker is a great choice for vacuum sealing. It has achieved excellent results in the CR laboratory tests for fast and sealing dry food, and its sealing performance for wet food is almost as high. It scores below average for noise, but that's pretty common for this type of stove.

Why it's a bargain: This model was originally priced at $130 and usually sells for less than $100, which makes it even more attractive with this discount.

storage and organization

Reusable silicone bag

In our review of silicone food storage bags at home, we looked at both flat and stand-up bags, and the storage device did a good job of preventing leaks and resisting food stains. We liked the ease of reheating food in this package, as it holds up just as well in boiling water as it does in the microwave without splattering the sauce.

WHY IT'S IN HIGH DEMAND: These reusable bags are an affordable and eco-friendly way to make healthy snacks on the go. Check out the coupon on the page to save another dollar.

For bulk products like cereal, oatmeal, and rice, stackable containers or simple jars can help maximize shelf space. This Chef's Path storage set includes four 4-quart airtight containers designed to keep dry foods in place and close at hand.

Why it's a bargain: It's $1 more than the best price we've seen for this game.
