Redmi K60 Series Leak Reveal Chipset, Storage And More Details

Xiaomi is rumored to launch the Xiaomi 13 series in China soon and the Redmi K60 series will be launched soon. Advisor Kacper Skshipek announced that the Redmi K60 series will include the Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro and Redmi K60E models. He also revealed the memory, codename, chipset and specifications. According to a Twitter post, the three Redmi K60 series phones - Vanilla K60, K60 Pro and K60E - have been codenamed 'Socrates', 'Mondrian' and 'Rembrandt' respectively. Additionally, they are expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and MediaTek chipsets respectively. The Redmi K60E may have a Dimension 9200 or Dimension 8200 processor. According to a report by 91Mobiles , the Redmi K60 could sport a 6.67-inch 2K display. The smartphone is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and offer up to 12GB of RAM. It is expected to have an in-display fingerprint sensor.

For photography, the Redmi K60 may sport a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide angle and a 2MP macro sensor. The smartphone is expected to sport a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.

In common parlance, Xiaomi is likely to launch the Xiaomi 13 in India as soon as the smartphone is spotted on the BIS website.

As for the specifications, the Xiaomi 13 series is rumored to feature the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Qualcomm is expected to unveil the processor later today, and with the launch of its next flagship phone this year, Xiaomi could be the first. The brand will offer a phone powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Xiaomi tried to do the same last year, but Motorola outdid it. The Xiaomi 13 is likely to feature a 6.2-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a high refresh rate. It might have a 50MP rear camera and run MIUI 14 out of the box.
