The new board game “Business Techno. The Game” was developed by the teams behind the Polish Upto Date Festival and FOMO Club.
With a Monopoly-style environment that forces players to build a music empire by trading "tech properties," the game's creators hope to spark a dialogue about the dance music industry.
Cities featured in the game include Berlin, Ibiza, Dubai, Detroit, London and Bialystok, the Polish city where the developers will soon close FOMO and the festival. Each country has different actual locations, events and links for each area.

Players use Techno Coin to pay for social media, followers and buy content to eventually reach Techno Influencer status.

The people behind the board game have also announced that FOMO, their Bialystok venue, has closed. Their latest event takes place over the weekend (November 26). “From its inception, FOMO has been a field of conceptual art built on a strong philosophical foundation. All these words, with which we started a great adventure together in 2020, sound even more powerful and important today.
"FOMO is being shut down in its current form," they continued. "Quality all along the line".
The 2022 edition of To Date runs September 2-4 with Chloé Robinson, Ceephax Acid Crew, Jerome Hill B2B, Sunil Sharpe, LCY, Horse Meat Disco and Claudio PRC.
