To put things in perspective, the Redmi Note 12 series was launched in China at the end of October. The devices went on sale in early November. We've been waiting for a worldwide release and it's finally here.
Notably, the devices made their way to India in January, but this is the only market other than China that has seen the phones. Now, Xiaomi has announced through its official Twitter account that the Redmi Note 12 series will reach many more markets.
The company uses the slogan "Live Vivid" for this launch event. Xiaomi highlighted 23:00 Chinese time as the launch event time. This means 16:00 CET, 15:00 BST, 11:00 EST and 8:00 PST US time has changed but Europe has not.
The equipment is expected to arrive in Europe
We're now calling this launch event a global launch event, as the devices may be arriving in Europe. This means that they are available in different markets besides China and India.
We assume all three Redmi Note 12 models will launch in Europe. This means we will have Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+.
The Redmi Note 12 looks different in India than it does in China, and it could be a variant that will be launched in Europe as well. The Redmi Note 12 Pro and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ are identical to their Chinese counterparts.
We expect the devices to be very affordable, but we'll have to wait and see. Mark your calendar, it's March 23rd.
