When you think of backlit phones, there isn't one company that comes to mind first. However, other brands are now joining the fun. Today we got a new phone from TECNO, it has nice lights which looks really nice.
TECNO POVA 5 Pro is available in two colors, Dark Illusion and Silver Fantasy, as you can see in the photo at the top of this article. However, a row of thin lights arranged in a triangular shape adorns the back of the phone, giving a different impression. The light, unlike a bare phone, supports nine RGB colors so you can stand out from the crowd.
Tecno is positioning this new POVA phone as a gaming and entertainment device. So, it has a large 6.78-inch screen with 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It also has a large 5,000mAh battery to power your gaming sessions (and of course the aforementioned light). If you run low, wireless charging gives you 68W of speed, which TECNO says goes from zero to full in 45 minutes.
MediaTek Dimensity 6080 powers the POVA 5 Pro. It's definitely a mid-range chipset, so don't expect the killer performance that titles like Genshin Impact demand. However, it should help you handle basic smartphone issues and an average gaming session with ease. The SoC is paired with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage and 8GB of RAM.
TECNO did not reveal the price of the POVA 5 Pro and only said that it will be available in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Middle East and Latin American markets. Stay tuned as the company will release more information soon.
The POVA 5 Pro is not the only TECNO phone released today. The Spark 10 Pro Magic Magenta Edition has also been introduced. The "magic" in the name refers to the fox's fur, which changes color from pink to green under certain lighting conditions.
