This year's Pova 5 series is more about gaming, and the Pova 5 Pro is even more focused on that. The phone is powered by the Dimensity 6080 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM, which is quite a powerful configuration for its class. The case design pays homage to the Pova 5 Pro's gaming heritage with a mechanical design with LED backlighting. In the sub INR 15,000 price segment, it definitely stands out from the competition.

The device also has a fairly large vapor chamber, which Tecno says is enough to keep the Dimensity 6080 around 2°C.

You might be wondering if Dimensity Gaming can support HRR, and luckily Tecno is working closely with several developers to optimize the gaming experience. So the Pova 5 Pro should be able to hit 120fps like Mobile Legend: Bang Bang. and even store steady images at over 80 frames per second. On the other hand, Free Fire can run at 90 frames per second, while PUBG Mobile uses a linear engine and offers contextual haptic feedback.

The entire hardware is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support, which is another rare find in this price range. In addition, the software allows charging bypass to preserve the health of the battery for a longer period of time while playing games while charging.

One of the interesting features of the Pova 5 Pro is the camera setup. It's a hefty setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor and a depth sensor. Since any other secondary camera won't add much to the phone, it's good that Tecno kept things simple and used a simple camera setup.
