Xiaomi Redmi 13C, the successor to the Redmi 12C, is gearing up to launch in the coming weeks. The phone was recently spotted on the IMEI database and revealed its model number. Previous reports from Xiaomiui stated that the Redmi 13C will be available in 5G and 4G variants. Awaiting its launch, this phone has received NBTC and EEC certification.
The NBTC certification confirms that the phone will be called Redmi 13C and will have the model number 23106RN0DA. This particular variant supports 4G LTE, as indicated by the NBTC certification. The same variant also gets EEC certification. Unfortunately, this certification does not currently provide exact specifications of the cellphone.
In related news, renders and color options of the device have previously been revealed. According to rumors, the device will be available in three colors: Black, Blue and Light Green. The device is expected to feature a triple camera setup on the back, coupled with an LED flash.
The main camera is said to be 50 MP. A report from Xiaomiui states that the Redmi 13C 5G model will be powered by the Dimensity 6100+ chip, while the Redmi 13C 4G model will come with the Helio G85 SoC. Meanwhile, other specifications such as RAM, storage, battery capacity and additional details have not been revealed at this time. It is expected that more information about the device will become available as the release date gets closer.
The upcoming Redmi 13C is the successor to the Redmi 12C featuring a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a pixel density of 268 PPI. It is powered by an octa-core Helio G85 SoC with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Additional features on the Redmi 12C include a 50MP dual camera setup, a 5MP selfie camera, and 10W charging support.
