Vivo X Fold+ Comes On September 26

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC arrived and many smartphone manufacturers immediately announced their flagships. Most of them used the opportunity to unlock new smartphones. On the other hand, Vivo is planning to release a new version of its foldable phone. It comes with the moniker Vivo X Fold+.

Obviously, the Vivo X Fold+ will compete with the recently launched Galaxy Z Fold4 and Mi MIX Fold2. Both phones have the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Vivo clearly doesn't want to stick with the SD8 Gen1-based Vivo X Fold. So, a new Plus version has been launched for the latest devices.

Obviously, the company is promoting a device with more power. And "+" means "strengthening". Maybe it's just a marketing term, only time will tell. Anyway, the company has confirmed that the new foldable device will arrive on September 26. The launch event will take place in China and will start at 19:00 local time.

Vivo X Fold+ specifications leaked.

Apart from the launch date, the company also hinted at some details of the phone. For example, the new red color highlights the road. It can mix existing black and blue colors. Unfortunately, Vivo has not confirmed the specifications of the upcoming luxury device. But we have a rumor that the big hat covers rainy days.

According to the leaked information, Vivo X Fold+ is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. It will have up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. The device is powered by a 4730 mAh battery, which is very good considering the design issues. The phone also has 80W charging and 50W wireless charging. The device panel comes with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Unfortunately, the Vivo X Fold+, like its predecessor, may only be available for the Chinese market. For international customers, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip3 are still the only options in the foldable segment.
