Unboxed Tecno Camon 20 Premier
Another feature of the Tecno Camon 20 Premier (not a name) is the back. Tecno calls it a deconstructivist jigsaw design and uses "Magic Leather Skin" which is smooth yet resistant to fingerprints and abrasion. We have the Serenity Blue model and the Black model has a gloss finish.
The back of the Tecno Camon 20 Premier feels close to the skin, but it's not as flexible and grippy as other similar panels we've tested. It feels really premium and comfortable, and we'll understand if you leave the case in the box.
The Tecno frame contrasts strongly with the back wall. The completely flat glossy mirror surface ensures that the phone stands on its own and fits securely in your hand. Overall, we would describe the Tecno Camon 20 Premier as beautifully designed and certainly much better than the price suggests.
On the back is a 50-megapixel 1/1.56-inch main camera with sensor shift stabilization, laser and phase detection autofocus. Next to it is a 108-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus and macro capability. The phone is equipped with a dedicated ring flash that can remain active to make it easier to take macro shots.
It's an interesting imaging system from a company that has quickly shown its ability to innovate in cameras, and we'll put it to the test in our review.
