Moto G54 5G Vs Realme 11 5G Performance Comparison: Uncovering The Topperformer Under Rs 20,000

The telephony segment under 20,000 euros is becoming increasingly competitive. Motorola and Realme recently launched new smartphones under the Moto G54 5G (review) and Realme 11 5G (review) categories respectively. Both devices are powered by the latest MediaTek chipsets. The Moto G54 5G comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC, while the Realme 11 5G comes with the Dimensity 6100+ SoC.

In this comparison, we decided to compare two mobile phones to determine which one is better. Here are the main specifications of these SoCs, along with their benchmarks and gaming performance.

Gikbench v6

The Geekbench benchmark shows the Dimensity 7020-powered Moto G54 5G leading with a single-core score of 919 and a multi-core score of 2309. On the contrary, the Realme 11 5G achieved slightly better results with the Dimensity 6100+. 732 in the single-core test and 1936 in the multi-core test. As a result, this suggests that the Moto G54 can perform certain tasks a little faster than the Realme 11 5G.

AnTuTu v10

AnTuTu also shows that the Realme 11 5G is slightly behind with an overall score of 4.33321 compared to the Moto G54 5G's score of 4.58746. The Motorola phone beats its counterpart in almost every aspect except MEM. However, since the difference in scores is only marginal, users are unlikely to notice a significant real-world difference between the two devices.

Processor amplifier

Realme 11 5G beats Moto G54 5G in CPU acceleration test. The Realme phone shows a slight drop (5% to be exact) from peak performance when running on 50 threads for half an hour. In contrast, the Moto G54 5G's performance drops to 66% when performing a similar task. Based on these results, we can conclude that the Realme 11 5G will be able to perform better under heavy loads than the Motorola phone.

a game

Gaming may not be the strong point of these devices, but they handle games like Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) very well. I played BGMI on Moto G54 5G and Realme 11 5G for 30 minutes using HD graphics and high frame rates. I didn't notice any significant frame drops or lag when playing on these devices. However, it should be noted that the Moto G54 5G does have some thermal issues. While it didn't get too hot, there was a noticeable rise in the phone's temperature while gaming on this device.

On the other hand, the Realme 11 5G is still quite interesting in gaming. Also, based on my personal experience, the Realme phone showed slightly faster app launch times than the Motorola phone. This is contrary to benchmark estimates.

Solution

Moto G54 5G and Realme 11 5G show their strengths in this comparison. The Motorola phone performs slightly better in CPU-intensive tasks and benchmark scores (albeit marginally), while the Realme 11 5G offers more consistent performance in CPU-intensive tasks and more interesting gameplay. This makes it difficult to declare a clear winner in this case. So, the choice between these two devices may depend on your specific usage patterns, be it demanding activities or gaming.

Both phones offer competitive prices, and your choice should suit your preferences. If you are a heavy user, the Realme 11 5G better suits your needs as it offers better thermal management than its counterpart. On the other hand, if you mostly use your phone for everyday tasks, the Moto G54 5G should serve you well.
