Oppo has launched the new A series smartphone. This is the new Oppo A38 smartphone launched in the ₹15,000 price range. Furthermore, the Oppo A38 looks exactly identical to its predecessor, the Oppo A58, which was launched a month ago on August 8. Some of the notable features of Oppo A38 are 90Hz display, 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging, 50MP camera and more. Unfortunately, the Oppo A38 does not support 5G connectivity. However, I am comparing the Oppo A38 with the Realme Narzo 60x 5G below, as the Realme Narzo 60x was launched on September 6 and is the same price.

The Oppo A38 has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. The screen has a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels and offers a brightness of 720 nits at maximum brightness. It runs ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13.
The Realme Narzo 60x 5G comes with a 6.72-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and supports a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It also runs Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13.

The Oppo A38 is powered by a Mediatek Helio G70 processor along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is equipped with a 5000mAh battery with 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging support.
Realme Narzo 60x 5G is powered by Mediatek Dimensity 6100+ chipset and has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The battery setup here is the same with a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

The Oppo A38 has a dual camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front.
On the other hand, the Realme Narzo 60x 5G also has a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the back. On the front panel there is an 8 megapixel camera.

The Oppo A38 is available on Flipkart for ₹ 12,999, while the Realme Narzo 60x 5G is available on Amazon and Realme's official store. It was launched at Rs 12,999 but is currently available with a Rs 1,000 coupon. Therefore, its price has been reduced to Rs 11,999.
