New Queer Techno Party Sissy Hut Is Coming To Dublin

Dublin DJ and producer Eoin Kelly has announced that CC Hut, a new friendly queer hangout, is coming to Dublin this November.

Sissy Hut will be celebrating their DERV headline party on Saturday 4th November at the Wigwam, a staple of the Irish techno music scene. JIMMY CHAPS DJ Queer from Galway and OSSORY young artist duo will provide support at the first ever CC Hut party.

Kelly, founder of Irish dance group Beda Pocket, said CC Hutt "hopes to create a safe and inclusive space for the community and its partners to have fun, dress comfortably and dance the night away without judgement". go in peace'

Although guests are encouraged to bring their own cameras for the techno-themed dance party, the event will be professionally photographed throughout the evening. According to Kelly, the CC Hat team hopes this will allow people to "focus on the music while we take beautiful photos of everyone."

While Kelly knows Dublin's LGBTQ+ community has plenty of queer parties, including Strawberry, Auction and NSFW, the DJ told GCN with CC Hats, we wanted the party to give our touch to acts we like to see. Introducing new talents.

According to Kelly, the new nightclub hopes to fill what he sees as a gap in the market for "technologically awesome nights."

"We want to contribute to safe and inclusive spaces for LGBT people in Dublin to express themselves," says Kelly. "Because it's more than luck."

“CC Hut is a safe and inclusive place for the community and its partners to come together under one roof without judgement. “Our goal is to embody that spirit with a focus on techno,” Kelly said.

CC Hut tickets are on sale from just €6.34. This is the last queer party to be held at the Wigwam in Middle Abbey Street. Other LGBTQ+ friendly events coming here soon include Sam's Collective Nightclub, HONEYPOT 009 and NSFW.
