Oppo has hinted at the debut of the Reno 11 series in the Indian market. X (formerly known as Twitter) has shared a teaser that showcases the smartphone's more powerful camera capabilities, mainly for portraits. While the launch date is yet to be announced, Oppo's social media post confirmed that the phone will go on sale in January.
The report also says that Oppo will launch two variants of the series - Oppo Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro. Here are some details you need to know about the upcoming smartphone:
Oppo Reno 11 Series: Expected Features
The company's phones have been officially launched in China, based on which we can speculate about the specifications of the upcoming phones in the Indian market. The Reno 11 Pro is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution (2772 x 1240 pixels) and a super-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the Reno 11 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with 1080p resolution.
Reno 11 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, while Reno 11 will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. The Pro version will come with a 4,700mAh battery with 80W fast charging. The Reno 11 will have a slightly larger 4,800mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.
Both smartphones will run on Android 14 OS and will be equipped with the latest ColorOS 14 software.
Camera: Specs as expected
The Oppo Reno 11 Pro (based on the Chinese model) is expected to feature a powerful triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 32MP camera. Telephoto lens with 2x megapixels.
The Reno 11 will have a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT600 primary sensor with OIS. Both the smartphones will have a 32-megapixel front camera for taking stunning selfies.
Price and Availability
While no official price of the device has been announced, we expect it to be Rs 35,000 or more. But this is just a wait and we are yet to hear about the company's upcoming smartphone.
