The smartphone brand Xiaomi has announced the launch date of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus in India. As announced by the company through the official Redmi India Twitter account, the phone will be launched in the country on January 5, 2023.

The company has also created a dedicated web page for smartphones at mi.com. According to the website, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus will come with a 200MP rear camera. The smartphone will support 5G. While the trailer only mentions the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus, Xiaomi is likely to bring the Redmi Note 12 and Redmi Note 12 Pro to Indonesia.

Already available in China, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus could sport a 6.67-inch full-HD+ OLED display. The screen of the phone can have a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and the smartphone is said to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
The upcoming Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus is said to have four cameras on the back to carry out the camera functions. Xiaomi has confirmed the presence of a 200MP main sensor in the phone. The main sensor can be paired with up to three other sensors. For selfies, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus may have a 16MP camera on the front.
The device is said to have a 5,000 mAh battery. It can offer up to 120W fast charging support. In India, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus will compete with the recently launched Realme 10 Pro Plus in India. The Realme 10 Pro Plus is powered by the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 1080 5G octa-core processor and has a starting price of $ 24,999 and has three models: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.
