Last week, Tecno launched its newest addition to the Pop series, the Tecno Pop 8, in India. Positioned as an entry-level smartphone, it comes with a UniSoC T606 chipset and features a 90Hz LCD display with dynamic port notification. The phone is equipped with a 12-megapixel main rear camera with an AI lens, complemented by an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. With a large 5000mAh battery and 10W charging support, the Tecno Pop 8 ensures long-lasting use.

Introductory Offer and Availability
Tecno Pop 8 is priced at Rs 6,499 in India. As a special launch offer, Tecno is offering a flat discount of Rs 500, bringing the effective price to Rs 5,999. The phone will be available exclusively on Amazon today, January 9, starting at 12pm.
Specifications and features
Tecno Pop 8 is equipped with a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and HD+ resolution (720 x 1612 pixels). Equipped with a UniSoC T606 chipset paired with the Mali G57 GPU, it has 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 4 GB of additional RAM and 64 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with the possibility of expansion via a dedicated microSD card slot.
The device runs HiOS 13.0 based on Android 13 (Go Edition) and is equipped with a 12-megapixel main camera with f/1.85 aperture and AI lens and an 8-megapixel front camera with built-in dual LED flash.
The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging via a USB Type-C port. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speaker setup with DTS audio and connectivity options like dual SIM, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The Techno Pop 8 is available in Mystery White, Alpenglo Gold and Gravity Black color options.
